Dane Prescott spends his days staring at perfect holes, and knows how to use his stiff shaft to get there. He’s as hot as he is good at the sport he loves more than breathing.

Dane has one goal and one goal only, to be on the professional golf tour. It’s who he is and what he lives for. Women, although fun, aren't in his long-term plans.

Beverly Whitfield didn’t start off as the confident woman she is today. Teased mercilessly as a child and always feeling second-best, she set out to change her future and is finally putting herself first. Never in her wildest imagination did she think she’d fall for a man with stunning good looks and sex seeping from his pores. And, oh yeah, he plays golf.

To those who say golf is complicated and frustrating, Dane says, “No, that’s love.”

Family and friends are the most important things to Joanne. She enjoys meeting new people, traveling, reading, relaxing on a beach and shopping. She has an addiction to Coffee and Diet Coke; you may want to stand clear if she hasn't had her daily intake! Writing has been something that has been private and not shared until the day she decided to publish Unexpected Chance. Waking up one morning to the voices of Alex Logan and Aubrey Ryan changed everything!! She is an avid sports fan especially when it comes to the New York Yankees & Dallas Cowboys. She also enjoys playing and watching golf.

She firmly believes when that unexpected chance comes, take it. Don't let it pass you by. You never know what you could be missing.

Joanne is a new to us author so when we got the chance ask her some question via email we couldn't wait to see what inspires her writing along with her writing process.

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
It really just happened. I'd always written little things down here and there, mostly poetry. Then in 2012, Alex and Aubrey woke me up and wouldn't stop talking until I told their story in Unexpected Chance.

How long does it take you to write a book?
Each book is different, so it depends. I started Gripped in 2013 and would revisit it every now and again. But on average I'd say, 4-7 months.

What is your work schedule like when you're writing?
I start as soon as I get up and finish before I fall asleep. My work day is probably about 12+ hours long when I'm writing. That being said, if my kids have something going on, then I break for that. If I remember, I break for food. :)

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?
All different places. My imagination, restaurants, sporting events, bars and people watching to name a few.

Tell us a little about your background!
First and foremost I'm a wife and mom. I published my first book as an indie author in October, 2013. Prior to writing romance novels, I was a technical writier. I can assure you writing romance is much more exciting.

Have you ever been in trouble with the police? If YES, for what?
No.

What is your biggest fear?
Being trapped.

If you could have any accent from anywhere in the world, what would you choose?
Australian

Do you ever daydream about people you see at the park? Airport? Train station? Mall? And build romance scenes around them while you daydream?
Yes, all the time.

What is your favorite body part?
Eyes

What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
Laundry

What do you do if you can’t sleep at night? Do you count sheep? Toss and Turn? Try to get up and do something productive?
I read.

What’s one thing you’d rather pay someone to do than do yourself? Why?
Laundry. I absolutely despise it. It's never ending.

When do you find yourself singing?
In the car.

You have to drink four pints of a liquid per day (not water). What is it?
Coffee.

If someone asked you to give them a random piece of advice, what would you say?
Always follow your dreams.

Do you write naked?
Never.
