Kendy a nurse living in NYC has her eyes on the hot Dr. at her work after a psychic tells her he is the one.However she needs to get his attention first!
Brian her best friends ex boyfriend runs into Kendy at the ER after a bar fight finds himself agreeing to help her in a scheme to make the Dr. jealous in hopes he will notice her.
As the story unfolds Brian and Kendy's relationship develops into FTF and he realizes that she is his one! However, Kendy is determined the hot Dr. is HER one. Kendy's past keeps her from seeing what she truly has until she loses it.
Brian is the ever so handsome nice boy that makes you fall in love. This is a sweet, fun and light friends to lovers story that made my heart melt.

Mia Kayla is a New Adult/Contemporary Romance writer who
lives in Illinois. On the weekdays, she can be caught wearing a suit, commuting
to her corporate job in downtown Chicago and raising three beautiful munchkins
in the suburbs, four if you count the husband.
In her free time she loves reading romance novels, jamming to
boy bands, catching up on celebrity gossip and designing flowers for weddings.
Most of the time, she can
be caught on the train with her nose in a book sporting a cheeky grin because
the main characters finally get their happily-ever-after at the end.
She loves reading about
happy endings but has more fun writing them.
